Of Course Life Got In The Way.

I'm going to be a bit scarce in the next couple of weeks. I've got a bunch of projects piling up and work is getting a little more demanding than normal.

One of these projects is loading the gagillion cds I brought to this marriage onto Mr. Zoom's itunes. So far I've managed to sully his collection with some Megadeath, Queensryche, a Barb Wire soundtrack (totally not kidding), Alien Sex Fiend, Chicasaw Mud Puppies, Muckypup, Metallica, Aerosmith, Sisters of Mercy, Kiss, Saves the Day, Love and Rockets, A Newfound Glory, Tones on Tail, Infectious Grooves, Mindless Self Indulgence, Erasure, Bauhaus, Crass, The Vandals, White Zombie, Rob Zombie, Weird Al Yankovik, Damn Yankees, Marilyn Manson, GWAR, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Pixies, Pennywise, Creed, Psi Com, Nick Cave, Prong, Guns and Roses, Lords of the New Church, X, Human Traffic soundtrack, Anthrax, Corrosion of Conformity, Misfits, Pig, Foetus, Frank Black, Virgin Prunes, Stone Roses, Underworld, Crystal Method and Slaughter. And I really can't wait until I find that digitized Warlock Pinchers song I downloaded about 3 years ago.

And these are just the bands that we didn't have in common, meaning he didn't already have them on his itunes library. Some of them he'd never heard of, some of them he had and was probably thinking "holy crap, I've now got Megadeath in my itunes."

I'm only about halfway through, and I'm super tired of wading through the piles to get to my computer every day (night, after work). I'm clumsy. I don't need obsticles to manuever when I'm already tired and cranky.

I've updated the links, so be sure to go visit those folks. They are all fun in their own way. At least I think so. Hopefully I'll still be able to check in on them myself in the next few weeks.

If I had any question but that I liked you, your musical tastes would have confirmed it for me. What a Great selection!

And I love how you linked me. Thanks.

Wow. Zoomie. Dude. You're band list is above reproach. I didn't think anyone else even knew who Muckypup was! Man I wish I could RAID THAT COLLECTION! I haven't yet gotten the hang of paid downloads/iTunes/whatever.

I knew I was missing some really important information. I thought marriage was a melding of hearts and minds. I had no idea you also had to meld into the itunes too.
I'm never going to catch up.

I'm impressed with the song list! Yes, a melding of the itunes. D and I ended up having a lot of the same music although, I've infused him with a little more punk and alternative and he's infused me with more hip-hop and rap. Hehehe....updating iTunes IS going to take you awhile!

That reminds me, I put up a new tune that you might like. It's just a demo but I'm anxious to hear what people think.

Hey Zoom,

Even though your hubby didn't give me the chance to buy his CDs... there are a few that you have that I'd like... if you're parting with them, of course.

Hi everyone!

Boston, I said to Mr. Zoom "HA! She had me at 'anything that doesn't twang'" - and then I read your stuff. Good stuff.

Andy, I fought the itunes forEVER. I was/still am very possessive of my archaic discs. But once I learned the itunes, it became very addictive - and dare I say fun since I can make playlists real easy like. I'll get over there to your song. I will.

T, you aint seen nothin yet. The book collection combining ceremony will be quite a feat. I'm most possessive of my books. And you will too catch up. If I can learn it, you can too.

Aisha, Mr. Zoom and I had a ton in common too. Tori Amos, Pearl Jam, the Cure, No Doubt, Travis, - those are the ones I can recall in this 10 seconds anyway. The library is huge. We currently have something like 18 days worth of music on there.

Ka, don't know if I'm selling them yet, but if I do you are welcome to check it all out first. HOW ABOUT AN UPDATE??

Al, it's a symphony of destruction, yo.

Putting all my junk in iTunes was a whole day's work for me, too. But hearing that awesome "blinnng" noise at the end of it makes it all worth it. :)

Andy, I'm almost done. I've also been taking care of a bunch of other stuff. I think by Monday, I'll be back to blathering as usual.

Thanks for the support though. You guys are too kind.
